This photo-shoot is dedicated to peacock blues. Blues are great for almost any eye color – and my goodness, they make brown eyes pop. My beautiful model is my friend Bhavna, a grad student at Carnegie Mellon. Bhavna has beauty, brains, talent and is super nice to boot!

School Assignment-Music Video

Hello Everyone!!! It’s been so long since I’ve posted anything! I love grad school and wanted to share one of my assignments with you! We had to make a music video and my group had to include the following in the video: 1) Color-Obsessive Yellows 2) A Soft Doll 3) A conspiracy theory. This is what we came up with. I used the song “Heavy In Your Arms” by Florence and the Machines.

Hey all my lovely bloggers/readers!!! I’ve been so busy with the move that I haven’t had two seconds to post something new. As many of you know, I moved away from my home state of Kentucky to attend grad school at Carnegie Mellon. I wanted to post a couple pics of my room and update you all a bit. School is wonderful (and I’m learning things that I never imagined were possible) everyone is super nice and helpful. Here are some pics of my new desk. I miss you all!!!! Love my lovelies. <3

I just saw the new Harry Potter and it was fantastic! I wanted to pay tribute to the last film with a Harry Potter makeover. Out of all the characters Luna Lovegood is my favorite. What makes her beautiful and charming is the fact that she is herself. Luna is weird, wise and wonderful. I hope you enjoy.

Over 1/2 of my life has been spent in the music industry. I always have friends telling me to put a song up on youtube but my own pickiness and insecurities have kept me from doing so. Well, last night I was sitting around the house with my sisters and I convinced them all to let me record this video in the basement. I saw this link on a friends Facebook page the other day and it upset me. This poor man had his entire studio robbed- the only thing that he wants back is his guitar (to give to his son). After seeing the power of Twitter with the Urban Outfitters scandal- I was hoping that if you read this post you would tweet or facebook and help this guy out.
